Manufacturer claim
- Tactical Innovations does not publish meter-generated dB reduction numbers: it tunes a baffle stack on the meter first and then modifies it on human perception feedback, and considers published dB figures unreliable across days, guns and ammunition.
- Each ported two-stage "K" baffle is additionally machined with steps to increase surface area, and extra porting and vents are machined into the stack — Tactical Innovations claims enhanced dB reduction over an un-stepped "K" stack.
- Both endcaps are skeletonised to cut weight and carry the proprietary 3-point lug drive disassembly method; the front endcap is machined inside and out to form a gas exit venturi.
- Every Tactical Innovations .22LR suppressor has threaded endcaps so the user can completely disassemble it — both endcaps and all internal baffles — to clean and reassemble it. Ultrasonic cleaners remove carbon and dirt but will not remove lead build-up; only disassembly does.

- 3 Lug Disassembly Tools are optional and sold separately; two are recommended so you have one for each end.
- The STRATUS is not rated for full auto fire. For full-auto use Tactical Innovations recommends the DIAMOND, and for more moderate full-auto shooting the QUEST.
- The STRATUS is not rated for any caliber other than .22LR — not .22 WMR, not .17 rimfire, and never .223/5.56.
