- Sonicore Suppressors are manufactured in Middletown, CT USA.
- The modular design lets the owner shorten the suppressor by removing baffles; the manufacturer notes that removing baffles decreases sound reduction.
- The 1/2x28 Valor 9 uses right-hand threads on every component of the assembly; the M13.5x1.0 LH model uses left-hand threads throughout.
- Lightweight design due to 6026-T9 aluminum and 303 stainless steel construction
- Knurled surface for faster heat dissipation and a firm grip when installing and removing from firearm
- The Valor 9 is a 9mm caliber suppressor constructed of 6026-T9 aluminum and 303 stainless steel, finished with black, non-glare, Mil Spec Hard Coat Anodize for durability.
- A knurled finish allows for greater heat dissipation as well as a firm grip when installing or removing the suppressor.
- Sonicore suppressors are made out of a combination of 6026 T9 aluminum and 303 stainless steel, depending upon the model. All Sonicore suppressors are hardcoat anodized.
- Sonicore offers a limited lifetime warranty. For more details, please consult your owner’s manual or our website.
- The period between cleanings will vary depending on what type of ammunition you are shooting, the type of host firearm, and environmental conditions such as rain or high humidity. We recommend cleaning the suppressor at a minimum after every 1,000-1,500 rounds.
- Reassembly calls for a moisture-resistant, high-temperature anti-seize lubricant on the baffle threads (the manual names Loctite LB-8023) so baffles do not seize together.
- For the Left-hand piston model suppressors, the modules are also left hand threaded to prevent loosening of baffles when installing on host firearm.
- Comes with piston, booster, and fixed barrel spacer. No need to purchase anything additional to use the suppressor out of the box.
- Due to the materials involved in construction, Sonicore Suppressors are not full auto rated.
- Sonicore Suppressors are not rated for FRT use.
- The minimum configuration recommended is the configuration the suppressor comes in from the factory.
- Use of an ultrasonic cleaner is not recommended for any Sonicore suppressor.
- Using a crush washer, peel washer, or anything else that causes misalignment voids the warranty.
- The Valor 9 was designed for semi-auto firing of SAAMI 9mm Luger, .38 Special and similar ammunition types only; contact Sonicore regarding other types.
- Valor 9: the user can fire up to 60 rounds of rapid fire (for example, 60 rounds in 30 seconds) before requiring a cool-down period.
