Configurations
Modular length — this suppressor can be run at more than one length. The manufacturer does not publish the dimensions of each configuration, so the length above is the only one on record.
Prices are manufacturer's suggested retail (MSRP). What you pay may differ.
Mount interface: 1/2x28 Direct Thread. It threads straight onto the barrel, so no mount or muzzle device is involved.
Manufacturer claim
- Step down at back of suppressor allows greater compatibility in conjunction with common AR-15 hand guard inner diameters
- Direct thread eliminates need for costly QD muzzle devices and adapters and allows for easy installation
- Strategic serialization placement lessens chances of serial number destruction in case of an alignment issue causing a baffle/end cap strike
- The modular design allows the user to shorten the can when compactness ranks higher than suppression.

- The walls of the Rekkr are thicker than the Paradox to allow for maximum durability under enhanced fire schedules.
- Sonicore Suppressors are manufactured in Middletown, CT USA.
- The modular design lets the owner shorten the suppressor by removing baffles; the manufacturer notes that removing baffles decreases sound reduction.
- Integrated stainless steel muzzle brake acts as sacrificial baffle and allows suppressor to continuously tighten itself
- Stainless steel core with gas-disrupting grooves
- Thicker walls for durability and heavy knurled surface for faster heat dissipation and better grip when removing or installing suppressor
- The Rekkr DT is a direct thread suppressor, meant for higher volume shooting, with a lightweight and modular design machined from 6026-T9 Aluminum and 303 Stainless Steel, and finished with black, non-glare, Mil Spec Hard Coat Anodize.
- The Rekkr is kept fairly lightweight through using aluminum baffle modules in combination with 303 stainless steel baffle inserts to create a steel “core.” An integrated stainless steel muzzle brake spins gas in a way to continuously tighten the suppressor onto your muzzle.
- Sonicore suppressors are made out of a combination of 6026 T9 aluminum and 303 stainless steel, depending upon the model. All Sonicore suppressors are hardcoat anodized.
- Sonicore offers a limited lifetime warranty. For more details, please consult your owner’s manual or our website.
- The period between cleanings will vary depending on what type of ammunition you are shooting, the type of host firearm, and environmental conditions such as rain or high humidity. We recommend cleaning the suppressor at a minimum after every 1,000-1,500 rounds.
- Reassembly calls for a moisture-resistant, high-temperature anti-seize lubricant on the baffle threads (the manual names Loctite LB-8023) so baffles do not seize together.
