Wider than most 5.56mm / .223 suppressors
Diameter compared against the 328 5.56mm / .223 suppressors in the catalog that publish one. Quartile basis; a value inside the middle half carries no note.

Mount interface: Direct Thread (multiple). It threads straight onto the barrel, so no mount or muzzle device is involved.
The Thunder Beast Silencer Summit fires every suppressor entered on the same gun, on the same day, with the same equipment. Highwood RHS was measured in 1 test. Figures can only be compared with others from the same test, so each one links to everything else fired on that gun.

Manufacturer claim
- Thermal imaging test: identical 10" AR-15s, same ammunition, 30, 60 and 90 rounds at ~2 rds/sec. "RHS suppressors measure approximately half the temperature of leading competitors, whether firing a single round or 90."
- Rather than using a traditional stacked and welded baffle system, the design is based on a monolithic core to improve structural integrity and reduce operational limitations.
- The core geometry also reduces back pressure compared to many traditional baffle designs, which can decrease carbon buildup.
- All suppressors are user-serviceable and can be disassembled for cleaning using optional service kits that include a mounting base and spanner wrench. No specialized chemicals are required for maintenance.

- The Reduced Heat Signature (RHS) Series combines characteristics of both the Slim and Max Core Series to prioritize thermal management while maintaining effective sound suppression. The RHS uses the same monolithic core design as other North Country Armory suppressors, with a 1.75-inch outer diameter.
- The internal core design reduces external heat buildup without relying on specialized coatings, resulting in a noticeably lower heat signature during firing. This helps improve thermal optic performance and reduces scope mirage during extended shooting sessions. In many cases, the suppressor remains cool enough to handle after multiple shots with larger cartridges.
- Internal heat management, as imaged: the baffle core is hottest, the internal tube is next, and the outer tube is coolest.
- After testing multiple configurations, a slot-and-pocket-style mono core was selected. The core is manufactured from titanium due to its high strength-to-weight ratio, allowing the suppressor to remain lightweight while maximizing strength and longevity, all while maintaining excellent sound suppression.
- In the event of a baffle strike, the suppressor is less likely to experience catastrophic failure, as the continuous titanium core structure helps redirect the projectile with limited damage.
- Limited lifetime warranty: North Country Armory warrants to the original purchaser that the suppressor will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the life of the purchaser. The warranty is non-transferable and does not cover misuse, unauthorized modifications, normal wear, improper installation, an improperly threaded barrel, or reloaded or non-standard ammunition.
- Headquartered in Gillette, Wyoming, with an additional location in Havre, Montana, we design and machine every suppressor in house. North Country Armory is proud to build American-made suppressors for sportsmen and shooting enthusiasts.
- The mono core allows compatibility with nearly all SAMMI-spec cartridges and eliminates barrel length restrictions, except for certain high-powered .30 caliber applications.
- Service manual: the baffle core threads out of the suppressor tube and is torqued to 30 lb/ft on reassembly. DO NOT attempt to remove the thread adapter from the tube — removing it may cause irreversible damage to the tube or thread adapter, and such damage will void your warranty.
