- JK calls the SGX 12GA the first and only shotgun suppressor that correctly and variably shapes the shot pattern, and the only one that will not hold a shooter back when a tight pattern is required for skeet, trap or bird hunting.
- JK's patented baffle design lets the shotshell wad pass through smoothly and reshapes and supports it, which JK says prevents plastic shavings, keeps shot patterns consistent and increases shot velocity.
- The front choke cap swaps in seconds without special tools to change shot pattern constriction; a cylinder bore choke cap is included.
- Fully configurable: 3.375 inches and 4.3 ounces in its shortest configuration, 11.75 inches and 22.4 ounces with all seven baffle assemblies.

- Designed with the option to be run wet, and shipped pre-packed with the recommended amount of petroleum jelly inside its baffles.
- Rated for 12 gauge birdshot in steel and lead, buckshot and slugs; JK recommends shotshells with a cup style wad.
- Includes a JK 195 LT Taper Mount, a JK 195 LT tube, seven JK 195 LT SGX baffle assemblies and a JK 195 LT cylinder choke flash reducer choke cap. From January 2026 SGX units also include a widowmaker end cap and three accu chokes.
- Recommended minimum barrel lengths by shell: 1-3/4-inch mini shells none, 2-3/4-inch shells 6 inches, 3-inch shells 9 inches, 3-1/2-inch shells 12 inches.
