- EOTECH lists the DCBL 9PCC as Not Rated for full auto, and its warranty excludes damage related to full-auto firing.
- EOTECH publishes a dB rating of 113.5 for the DCBL 9PCC.
- EOTECH publishes both a suppressor-body figure and a with-hub-and-flash-hider figure because the industry follows no standard: some makers publish the body weight alone and leave out components that are required to use the suppressor.
- EOTECH's Vent-Forward design vents gas forward, away from the shooter, which it says cuts back pressure and the blowback of gas and fumes into the shooter's face on semi-automatic hosts, for smoother cycling and less carbon buildup.

- 3D printing lets EOTECH build internal baffle geometry that could not be machined conventionally, which it credits for the sound reduction, the lower weight and the improved gas flow.
- The DCBL 9PCC uses the industry-standard HUB thread pitch of 1.375"-24. EOTECH states that any HUB adapter, including other companies', will mate with it.
- EOTECH publishes a bore diameter of 0.4" and an overall diameter of 1.6" (40.7 mm) for the DCBL 9PCC, with a published maximum cartridge of 8.6 Blackout.
- Per the DCBL manual, the hub threads onto the suppressor body counter-clockwise and torques to roughly 35 ft/lbs with an armorer's tool; the KFM flash hider goes on the barrel at roughly 30 ft/lbs and the suppressor tightens onto it hand-tight, roughly 20 ft/lbs. The KFM adapter uses reverse threads, so removal turns clockwise.
- The DCBL 9PCC is a monolithic Grade 5 titanium body 3D printed from titanium powder, treated with a high-temp Cerakote finish and offered in matte black or tan.
- Residual titanium powder from the 3D-printing process makes a new DCBL spark on the first rounds fired; EOTECH says this drops off sharply after roughly 200 rounds and is a harmless byproduct of the material.
- EOTECH covers the DCBL line with its NoBS Lifetime Warranty: it will repair or replace any issue related to materials and workmanship free of charge, for the original registered owner.
- EOTECH says the monolithic, corrosion-resistant construction is built for harsh environments including salt air, extreme temperatures and prolonged courses of fire, and that the greater mass acts as a heat sink while thicker walls resist warping and erosion.
- The DCBL manual states the suppressors are manufactured in the USA and licensed by EOTECH for sale within the USA only.
- EOTECH does not intend the DCBL 9PCC for handguns and does not suggest that use: pistols usually need a booster assembly (Nielsen device) for their tilt-barrel function.
- Cleaning interval depends on the cartridge: EOTECH recommends cleaning the 9PCC every 500-1,000 rounds with pistol ammunition, which runs at lower pressure and leaves more lead and carbon, and every 2,500-3,000 rounds with rifle cartridges.
- The DCBL 9PCC ships with a hub and a KFM flash hider. EOTECH publishes the suppressor body at 7" (177.8 mm) / 9.3 oz (263.7 g) and the assembled suppressor with hub and flash hider at 7.3" (185.5 mm) / 13.9 oz (394.1 g).
- EOTECH publishes a minimum barrel length of 10.3" for the DCBL 9PCC. That restriction applies only when the suppressor is used with rifle cartridges.
