A barrel adapter screws onto your rifle's threaded muzzle and stays there. It gives the muzzle a mounting interface, so the suppressor attaches to the adapter instead of the bare barrel threads. One adapter per rifle lets you move one suppressor between them. Many are quick-detach designs, and some also work as a muzzle brake or flash hider.
This one fits barrels threaded 1/2x28 and presents the IDG Hesion Bow interface. A suppressor with a matching IDG Hesion Bow mount attaches to it. It comes in 2 thread pitches, so pick the one that matches your barrel.

- The Macro Flow Enhancer is the muzzle device component of the Hesion Bow locking system, built to improve suppressor performance at the muzzle rather than splitting its priorities between suppressed and unsuppressed use.
- Overall length 2.5", diameter 1.25", adding 1.65" to the barrel at 2.6 oz.
- By driving unburned powder and high-pressure gas through the hollow tines directly into the suppressor's annular intake, the Macro FE burns as much fuel as possible as early as possible.
- The Macro Flow Enhancer is built around a 15-degree included taper and a 1.125-8 American buttress thread. The ridged base ring provides the locking indexes for the Hesion Bow pawls.
- The Macro Flow Enhancer uses Inconel 718 so the muzzle device, suppressor body, and Hesion Bow HUB adapter share the same thermal behavior. When dissimilar alloys are mixed, such as a 17-4 muzzle device driving into an Inconel 718 taper, the faster-growing component can wedge itself into the mating taper, gall the surface, and make the suppressor feel thermally locked once everything cools.
- The Macro Flow Enhancer uses a coarse 1.125-8 American buttress thread, a profile originally developed for hostile, dirty applications like tank barrels and artillery breech interfaces. The intentionally blunted crest increases impact and galling resistance and leaves a relief path for gas, keeping carbon from compacting in the threads the way it does on fine-pitch, sharp-crested thread systems.
- Use the Macro Flow Enhancer when the host is realistically going to live suppressed. It is designed to maximize suppressor performance by sacrificing unsuppressed flash reduction.
- Compatible suppressors are the Hesychia SIXK and Hesychia SIXK-H.
- The Macro Flow Enhancer installs with a 3/4" socket and does not require timing, at 30 ft-lbs of torque to the barrel.
- There is no Macro Flow Enhancer path for the 556UK-H: the Macro FE is too long to work within the 556UK geometry when using the Hesion Bow HUB Adapter.
- 1/2-28 Macro FE devices are rated up to 6MM, giving them broader small-frame compatibility than a 5.56-only muzzle device, but the host should still be confirmed by the actual barrel markings before installation.
