A piston, sometimes called a Nielsen device, screws into the back of a pistol suppressor. Most pistol barrels tilt as the action cycles, and the weight of a suppressor can stop that. The piston adds a spring between the suppressor and the barrel so the pistol keeps cycling. Match the piston's thread to your pistol's barrel.
This one fits suppressors that take the Gemtech GM-9 Piston and barrels threaded 1/2x28.

Which ones fit your barrel and host?
See all 2 in the Builder- The Linear Inertial Decoupler (LID) is required for handguns using a Browning-type action (Glock, SIG, HK and similar) so the pistol cycles with the suppressor weight on the barrel.
